Player First Games told us what it is working on for MultiVersus and what features it plans to add in the future
The developers of MultiVersus have announced upcoming updates with new features that will appear in the coming months. After returning on 28 May, Player First Games reintroduced the game with a beta version and new characters such as Jason Voorhees and Joker. The launch also brought changes to monetisation, a new battle pass, and the Rifts PvE mode. However, players noticed that the game was missing some features, prompting the developers to share updates.
MVPs, thank you all for the continued feedback, we appreciate it.

We wanted to give everyone an update on areas we're working on for MultiVersus. Current priorities for the team include:
Here's What We Know
Currently, the developers are focused on improving performance on Xbox Series consoles, reducing the frequency of match desynchronisation, and solving the problem with the minimum map. Among the upcoming features, they highlighted
- spectator mode in custom games;
- free queue for everyone;
- options for changing attacks, switching off team colours, and customising input buffers;
- end-game statistics and team cohesion from PvP to Rifts/PvE;
- Repeat button for Rifts/PvE nodes;
- dedicated neutral dodge button and camera settings for 1v1;
- rating mode;
- reassessment of the progression of the battle and the distribution of XP.
They also confirmed post-match stats, 1v1 camera settings, and a neutral dodge button. The ranked mode is currently under development, with a focus on balancing.
Battle progression and XP distribution will be revised, and all PvE Rifts rewards will be available in the second season without the need for co-op, although co-op will speed up rewards.
