"Are you ready to answer the call?" - Square Enix has unveiled an atmospheric release trailer for the Dawntrail add-on for Final Fantasy XIV
The release of the massive Dawntrail expansion for the popular multiplayer RPG Final Fantasy XIV will take place very soon.
A bright and intense adventure awaits the players and this is emphasised by a new trailer from the developers.
Here's What We Know
Square Enix presented an atmospheric release trailer of Dawntrail add-on.
It lasts four minutes and shows off new locations and characters that will take part in the story campaign.
The developer did not show what gameplay changes await players, but the following innovations were previously announced:
- a new large-scale location will appear - the tropical area of Tural, where cities, sandy beaches and settlements of indigenous people from the Pelupelu tribe (Final Fantasy X) are located;
- two new professions;
- the maximum character level will increase from 90 to 100 and many new skills will be added;
- new enemies, dungeons, equipment, recipes, potions, raids and more;
- cosmetic items in the style of Final Fantasy IX will appear, which is regarded by gamers as a hint of a remake or remaster of the ninth part of the series.
It is known that after the release of Dawntrail Square Enix will start to significantly improve the technical part of Final Fantasy XIV: graphics, lighting, quality of textures and shadows, appearance of characters, player characters and locations.
When We Can Expect It
Dawntrail will be released on the 2nd of July.
Those who pre-ordered the game will be able to start playing it on 28 June.
Final Fantasy XIV is available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
