Juliet and her chainsaw will return in September: first trailer and release date for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP unveiled
Dragami Games studio finally presented the first trailer of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP - remaster of the well-known in narrow circles action game of 2012.
Here's What We Know
The developers showed significantly improved graphics, modern models of characters and enemies, increased detail of locations and objects on them.
The trailer revealed the release date of the updated game - Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will be released on 25 September on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
The official website has released details about the game, the most important of which will be:
- the time to input combo attacks has been changed to make the game more comfortable;
- the chainsaw blaster has been improved, it can now fire in automatic mode and lock on to a specific target;
- combo attacks will be available from the beginning of the game;
- players will be offered two game modes: classic and updated, which will have more colours and visual effects;
- the developers will add more than 30 costumes, 4 colours for Juliet's hair and a set of new chainsaws;
- players will be able to switch off QTEs;
- a separate mode for streamers without licensed songs has been added.
On PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP supports 4K resolution at 60 fps, while on Switch gamers will be content with 1080p at 30 fps. Download times have been significantly reduced.
