Inkle Studio announces its next "mystery" project - Miss Mulligatawney's School for Promising Girls
After exploring the Scottish Highlands in A Highland Song and delving into linguistic archaeology in Heaven's Vault, developer Inkle has announced its next project: a mystery set in 1922 at Miss Mulligatawney's School for Promising Girls.
Here's What We Know
Despite the fact that the developers have been tight-lipped about the details, some clues can be found on the game's Steam page, such as the tags "Investigation", "Interactive Fiction", "Comic Book" and "2D". Inkle has replaced the standard Steam description with a flyer advertising the title's school: "The best education the 1920s have to offer! We offer tuition in Latin, Geometry, and a wide range of team sports, all within the beautiful setting of our isolated country estate.".
Instead of screenshots, Inkle uploaded pages from the school's prospectus, which contain fascinating details about the school's history and sports programme. Notably, one image hints at a mystery, showing someone falling through the school's famous "Pink Window".
When We Can Expect It
Miss Mulligatawny's School for Promising Girls will be released on Steam later this year.
Where To Play
The game will be available on PC upon release, but it will also be released on Nintendo Switch and iOS later.
