Redmi 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G are updated to the fresh June security patch

Two popular smartphones from Xiaomi, the Redmi 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G, have received a security update for June 2024. This update aims to address system vulnerabilities and improve system stability.

Here's What We Know

Both devices, known for their stylish design and functionality, are now even more secure thanks to the latest patch. Users with the global version of HyperOS are the first to get access to the update, which includes the latest June security patch. The update for Redmi 12 has the build number OS1.0.6.0.UMXMIXM, while for the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G it is OS1.0.5.0.THGMIXM. The update size is 177MB for the Redmi 12 and 1.1GB for the Note 12 Pro 4G.

The released HyperOS updates were initially made available to HyperOS Pilot users. The updates are expected to be made available to all users soon.
