Sorry, bro: Helldivers 2 authors confirm that the game will never get a story mode

The PvE shooter Helldivers 2 became one of the most high-profile releases of the first half of 2024. The game became mega-popular, but people who prefer single-player games wondered if the game would ever get a similar mode. And now we have the answer.

Arrowhead CEO Shams Jorjani confirmed that there will be no story mode.

One of the players asked on Twitter if the authors could create a story mode for co-op. With epic moments and tragic scenes.

Shams answered him:

"That's not going to happen. Sorry, bro. It's like building a completely new game
