Many developers are of the opinion that AI at this stage of its development cannot be considered a reliable tool for work, but Czech game designer Daniel Vávra - creator of Kingdom Come: Deliverance and the first two parts of Mafia - expressed a different point of view.

Here's What We Know

In an interview on The Game Business, Vávra said that with the right approach, AI can significantly speed up and simplify game development. The game designer explained that such programmes are unsuitable for creating scripts or assemblies, but they can correct program code, detect bugs, help in testing and perform other routine and time-consuming tasks.

Daniel Vavra has aptly noted that "he has more ideas than time" and he hopes that AI will help realise as many of them as possible.

There are several projects that I think have the same potential as Kingdom Come: Deliverance that I would like to realise. And I'd like to prepare them properly so that they aren't so chaotic. I hope that the AI revolution ensures that in the future, AI will not replace us, but will help us. It will help make many things easier and faster.

It would be great if that's what happens!
