Pieces Interactive studio, which released Alone in the Dark in spring 2024, closed after 17 years of existence

In March 2024, Pieces Interactive released a remake of Alone in the Dark, which received average ratings. However, we will not see more games from this studio.

Here's What We Know

Pieces Interactive has existed since 2007. During this time, the studio has released more than ten games for PC, consoles, and mobile devices, both its own concepts, such as Puzzlegeddon, Fret Nice, Leviathan Warships, Robo Surf, and Kill to Collect, and games with existing franchises, such as Magicka 2 and several DLC for Magicka.

In 2017, the studio was acquired by Embracer Group. The latest project of Pieces Interactive is the horror game Alone in the Dark.
