The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra has passed a performance test in Geekbench and also showed up on the Taiwanese NCC certification website
The new Motorola Razr 50 Ultra foldable smartphone is coming soon, and it has already appeared on the Geekbench platform and on the Taiwanese NCC certification website, indicating its imminent release.
Here's What We Know
Our colleagues at 91mobiles spotted the Razr 50 Ultra on the NCC website under the number XT2451-3. Other similar models have also been spotted - XT2451-1, XT2451-2 and XT2451-4. It is reported that the model will be available in peach and navy blue colours. There are also rumours of a possible green variant of the smartphone. The overall design will be similar to its predecessor Razr 40 Ultra.
In the leaked photos, we can see two batteries and bundled accessories of the smartphone with model numbers such as a charger and USB-C charging cable. The Razr 50 Ultra will support 68W charging and a 4,000mAh dual-cell battery (1,050mAh + 2,950mAh). The predecessor Razr 40 Ultra had a 3,800 mAh battery with 30W charging speed.
As for performance, the device's test in Geekbench showed the following results (screenshot below):
The Razr 50 Ultra will get 12GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC (3 cores at 2.02GHz + 4 cores at 2.80GHz and a Prime core at 3.01GHz). The new chip is more powerful than the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 on the Razr 40 Ultra.
From other leaks, the phone may come with a main 6.9-inch FHD+ OLED display, an external 3.6-inch display (same as the Razr 40 Ultra), 256GB of storage, and a triple 50 MP + 50 MP + 32 MP rear camera.
More details will be revealed during the device's announcement, which will take place very soon.
