Russia develops ground-based drone to combat FPV drones
Russia has created the Rebovets WALL-E ground-based unmanned system, which has an electronic warfare system.
Here's What We Know
A Russian company working for the Russian army said that the system had allegedly successfully passed tests and was ready for use at the front. "The Rebovets WALL-E received Fumigator modules, an electronic warfare system designed to suppress communication channels between the operator and the drone.
In addition, secure control channels allow the platform to be operated despite the signal suppression systems installed on it.
The Russians claimed to have solved the problem of batteries, which were previously insufficient for full operation. This drone was developed primarily to provide cover for infantry assault groups.
It is worth noting that the Fumigator was originally a man-portable vehicle for infantry. Special electronic warfare modules were installed on a frame that was worn by the soldier. According to the company, Fumigator is capable of creating a dome within a radius of 250-300 metres.
