The artificial intelligence used in Storm Shadow missiles may soon be integrated into other weapon systems to enhance their anti-jamming capabilities.

Here's What We Know

Romanian company OVES Enterprise said that its Storm Shadow AI (SSAI) has attracted the attention of major missile manufacturers after its success in Ukraine.

Artificial intelligence allows visual recognition and other advanced identification methods to be used so that the weapon autonomously finds and destroys targets regardless of enemy interference. AI also provides an additional level of safety and efficiency for a wide range of weapon systems, making it a viable solution for defence contractors.

"We are currently in talks with missile manufacturers who want to integrate Storm Shadow AI into their weapons," said company spokesperson Mihai Filip.

SSAI can potentially be integrated into modern weapons such as the HIMARS missile system and Excalibur guided missiles.
