Packaging images of Samsung's new Galaxy Buds 3 headphones have surfaced, but they look suspicious
Samsung is preparing to unveil the new Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 wireless headphones leaks about which continue to emerge. This time, images have surfaced that are said to show the retail packaging of the Galaxy Buds 3. The photos revealed by 91Mobiles show the headphones and charging case, which are quite different from the previous Galaxy Buds models.
Here's What We Know
The Galaxy Buds 3 headphones are expected to have a stem, similar to Apple AirPods, which is a significant departure from the previous design in the Galaxy Buds 2. However, leaked renders of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro show a different design that doesn't match the images presented in this leak.
The back of the packaging indicates that the Galaxy Buds 3 will be able to run for up to 6 hours on a single charge. It is not specified whether the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature is activated, although the previous model was equipped with this feature. In comparison, the Buds 2 offered 5 hours with ANC enabled and 7.5 hours without it. Fast charging support is also mentioned, with 10 minutes of charging providing 1 hour of music playback. This seems like a step backwards compared to the Buds 2, which offered 1 hour of playback after 5 minutes of charging.
In fact, the headphones pictured above look suspicious and there is a possibility to believe that it could be a fake. The headphones and charging case shown on the retail box are very different from any Galaxy Buds that have come before. The graphics and content are also nothing like what Samsung has previously shown. So it's worth taking these images with a dose of scepticism.
Samsung plans to unveil the new Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro headphone models at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, which will be held on 10 July 2024 in Paris. The headphones are expected to get a radical new design and will be announced alongside other devices such as the Galaxy Fold 6, Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Watch 7.
