Nippon Ichi Siftware has announced Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero with a release date next year
Nippon Ichi Software has announced the sequel to the tactical role-playing game Phantom Brave, which is scheduled for release in 2025. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, and the PC version will appear on Steam later next year.
Here's What We Know
Marona and Ash are back, and Marona can once again talk to Phantoms, recruit them, and tie them to various objects for combat. This mechanic allows you to use different abilities depending on the object you're using, such as cannon shots or giant gusts of wind. A new feature called Confriend allows Marona to merge with Phantom, giving her new powers.
The cast is joined by Apricot, a girl in a pirate hat and jacket who wants to be reunited with her father. Marona can merge with Apricot to gain some of her powers, although details are still being withheld.
Unlike the original game, Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero will be fully 3D, similar to modern Disgaea games.
