More than expected: the AFU will receive 54 RCH 155 self-propelled howitzers based on the GTK Boxer APC and with turrets from the PzH 2000.

At the beginning of the year, the German government said that it would finance the purchase of 36 RCH 155 self-propelled howitzers for the Ukrainian army. Now it has become known that the Ukrainian armed forces will receive more installations.

Here's What We Know

The number of howitzers increased to 54 units. This was disclosed by the company-manufacturer KNDS. Unfortunately, the details of the new deal are not yet available. If we talk about the original contract, it was promised to be fulfilled by 2027.
