OPPO BeaconLink: a technology that allows you to make calls between smartphones without a mobile connection

OPPO has announced a new useful technology called BeaconLink.

Here's What We Know

BeaconLink allows you to make calls between devices without cellular coverage at a distance of up to 200 metres. Essentially, the technology turns OPPO gadgets into walkie-talkies.

OPPO uses its own Bluetooth protocols to make the technology work. The new feature is available only in OPPO Reno 12 and OPPO Reno 12 Pro smartphones. The gadgets will be available in Europe from 25 June.
