Circular launches new Ring Slim with improved monitoring features and IP68 resistance
Circular has released a new Ring Slim with an improved design and an updated app called Kira Plus.
Here's What We Know
Many of the new software features should also be available to current users now or in the near future.
With the improved app, renamed Kira Plus, Circular now offers users a more holistic view of their health and activity monitoring. This includes instant stats and trend monitoring with the new two visual displays Sport Session Circle and Advanced Analysis Circle in the app designed to simplify the way wearers receive and analyse data. They provide a summary of a person's key metrics in a single graph, including points, activity, vital signs and sleep.
The new Ring Slim now also provides real-time sports performance metrics thanks to a new heart rate algorithm during activity. In addition, the ring has an advanced sleep tracking algorithm for more accurate monitoring of sleep stages.
In the coming months, Circular will release a second version of this sleep algorithm with even greater accuracy.
The new device has a more scratch-resistant coating and an IP68 rating for protection against water and dust.
Circular Ring Slim is available online at Circular's website for $281.
Owners of the previous Ring Slim model can access many of the new features by downloading the Kira Plus app.
