FromSoftware has released a major update for Elden Ring that will prepare the game for the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion

The release of the biggest expansion Shadow of the Erdtree, which will be the only DLC for Elden Ring, will take place tomorrow.

To prepare the game for this event, FromSoftware studio, as promised, released a major patch.

Here's What We Know

In update 1.12 Japanese developers fixed a number of bugs, and also added several useful innovations.

Thus, in the inventory there is a special tab for recently picked up items, and to make it easier for players to consider new trophies, they will be marked in the general list of small exclamation marks.

Five additional hairstyles will appear in Elden Ring, and used summon points will be transferred to the "New Game+" mode.

Please note! The developers have discovered an issue in Elden Ring on Steam Deck consoles. The bug is currently being fixed, FromSoftware apologises and asks gamers to be patient.

Shadow of the Erdtree has already received the highest critical acclaim and has become the highest rated add-on on Metacritic.

When We Can Expect It

Shadow of the Erdtree will be released on 21st June on PC, PlayStation and Xbox of both current generations.
