Ubisoft changes perspective: the new Far Cry instalment could feature a third-person view
Gamers have long been berating Far Cry series games for their secondary nature and lack of new ideas. In fact, the concept of shooters has not changed since 2012, when the third part was released. All subsequent games took its developments and mechanics as a basis.
But perhaps Ubisoft finally decided to make significant changes.
Here's What We Know
Portuguese portal Geekinout paid attention to Ubisoft's job listing: the company is looking for a senior gameplay animator who knows how to work with the third-person view.
Since the applicant must be able to create games and with a first-person perspective, journalists and gamers concluded that we are talking about the new parts of Far Cry.
Perhaps the developers will give players the ability to switch the camera position, and maybe even make the whole game from the third person, but in this case it will be little different from all other Ubisoft projects.
It is noteworthy that the developer has not even confirmed the fact of creating Far Cry 7 (the name is conditional), and the game is rapidly growing details.
