Stoic Studios confirms intention to release Towerborne this year
Although many interesting projects were shown at this year's Xbox Games Showcase, the absence of Towerborne from Stoic Studios did not go unnoticed: many players began to suspect that the game would not be released this year. Fortunately, the studio has confirmed its intention to release the game this year, and game director Daniel McLaren has revealed some new information.
Here's What We Know
The Belfry will serve as a home base where you explore the story, upgrade equipment, collect quests, and interact with other players. Key areas include the Counsel Building for collecting and reporting quests, Ace HQ for key quests that unlock more secrets, the Forge for upgrading weapons and equipment, the Training Hall for testing weapons against mock enemies, The Facewright for changing the appearance of your costume, and the Overlook for contemplating the world.
While more information will be provided, this will be the initial area available at launch. Over time, the space will be expanded to reveal new secrets. Stoic has confirmed a seasonal model for post-launch updates, potentially adding new bosses, biomes, modes, and more.
Where To Play
Towerborne is available on Xbox Series and PC.
