Polish studio 11-bit on IGN channel presented an atomspheric trailer of the sci-fi game with survival elements The Alters.
Here's What We Know
The video is called "What If...?" (What If?) and perfectly demonstrates the main feature of The Alters.
Recall, in the plot of the game researcher Jan Dolski alone on a hostile planet, and to survive and leave it, he creates his clones.
To create the clones (altera), a supercomputer breaks down Jan's life into key moments and calculates what he could have become if he had made different decisions in life. For example, he would have had a different education, chosen a different job, befriended other people, or loved a different woman. And based on this information, the computer creates the protagonist's alter egos, who have the appropriate skills, personality, characters, outlook and talents. They can not get along on one research base, so the player needs to monitor the order and maintain discipline.
When We Can Expect It
The Alters release date is unknown, but 11 bit studios said that the game will be released "a few weeks after the release of Frostpunk 2", which, remember, will take place on 25 July.
The Alters will be available on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
