Nothing Phone (1) received Nothing OS 2.5.6: what's new and when to wait for the firmware

Nothing has released a new system update for Phone (1).

The firmware has been released with Nothing OS 2.5.6. The system weighs 118 MB and it has already started rolling out to devices around the world in waves. You can check for OTA in the gadget's settings.

As for the list of changes, it contains a number of improvements and fixes, as well as a few innovations. For example, the developers have added Ultra HDR support for the camera, Hide Navigation Bar feature, and the ability to long-press a widget to open the Quick Access menu. Apart from this, the update also contains Google's June security patch that closes various vulnerabilities in the system.
