HBO has shown the second teaser of the Penguin series, which is a spin-off of Batman (2022): the premiere will take place in September 2024
We wrote that the Penguin series, which takes place after Batman (2022), is scheduled to premiere on HBO Max in September 2024. To make the wait less boring, the authors showed the second teaser of the series.
Here's What We Know
Almost all the screen time is devoted to the Penguin, played by the unsurpassed Colin Farrell. The actor has already played the villain in Batman (2022).
The teaser features the same visual style as Batman, as well as characters that will complement this universe. For example, they showed Sofia, the daughter of Carmine Falcone, who was in the Batman film.
The teaser also makes it clear that there will be plenty of action scenes in the series.
The series will start immediately after the end of Batman and will show how Oswald Cobblepot expands his influence on Gotham and becomes an even greater criminal authority in the city.
Penguin will have 8 episodes. Lauren LeFranc is the writer and showrunner. Batman director Matt Reeves is the executive producer.
