A classic tactical game with a modern twist: the gameplay trailer for Commandos: Origins has been unveiled

At a small broadcast of Germany Showcase 2024, Claymore Game studio presented a new gameplay trailer of the tactical game Commandos: Origins.

Here's What We Know

The shown video confirms that the developers are building on the concept of the original Commandos series games, which were released in the late 90s-early 2000s.

At the player's disposal will be a small squad of elite special forces, which must penetrate the carefully guarded facilities of the Third Reich and its allies around the world. The tasks of the combat squad include carrying out sabotage, gathering intelligence, eliminating important officers, releasing hostages and other actions that will help bring the end of World War II closer.

Each hero has a unique set of skills and appropriate equipment.

All actions unfold in real time and require the player to plan several steps ahead.

Commandos: Origins will offer a variety of locations, from the Arctic ice to the sands of Africa. The game will feature co-operative play, both online and on a single screen.

When We Can Expect It

Commandos: Origins will be released in 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, and will be available on the Xbox Game Pass catalogue.
