Elon Musk's company SpaceX has unveiled a new version of Starlink satellite internet.

The novelty was called Starlink Mini. The terminal was specially designed for travellers. It received compact dimensions (259×259×38.5 mm), weight of 1.1 kg and built-in Wi-Fi router.

The device boasts a power consumption of 20-40 watts. In comparison, a regular Starlink terminal consumes almost twice as much - 33-62W. The novelty can be powered by a powerbank with USB-C PD and a minimum power of 100W (20V/5A). Starlink Mini has IP67 protection against water and dust. The declared bandwidth of the novelty - more than 100 Mbit / s.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Starlink Mini can already be bought in the USA. Deliveries of the novelty will begin in July. For now, Starlink Mini will be part of the Residential tariff plan. The terminal costs $599 and the subscription is $30 per month. For this amount, users get 50 GB of Internet for a month. For each additional GB, you'll have to pay $1.
