A beautiful move by CD Projekt: the developers of The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 elegantly congratulated their FromSoftware colleagues on the great success of Shadow of the Erdtree for Elden Ring
As we reported earlier, the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion for Elden Ring has become the highest rated DLC (95 points) in the history of the industry. It displaced Blood and Wine for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which held the title of the best DLC for more than eight years (92 points).
Here's What We Know
The Witcher developers did not ignore this event and behaved honourably: CD Projekt published a congratulation to their Japanese colleagues, which is accompanied by a special artwork with the image of Geralt defeating one of the strongest bosses of Elden Ring - Mog.
For the last 8 years, The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine had the honour of being the best reviewed expansion for a role-playing game - but @ELDENRING gets to wear that crown now. Congratulations to the entire team at @fromsoftware_pr on their stellar work! pic.twitter.com/aop9B1ZG3J

CD Projekt RED studio honestly admits that due to the release of Shadow of the Erdtree its employees are not working on their new projects, but the whole office has returned to the world created by FromSoftware, which is proved by the presented collage with screenshots of the Polish game designers' monitors.
