Resident Evil 2 remake sells 14 million copies, the best result in the series

We wrote that sales of Resident Evil Village reached 10 million copies. This makes it one of the most popular parts of the franchise, but which part is the most popular?

Capcom reported that Resident Evil RE:2 sold more than 10 million copies in July 2022 and has now sold more than 14 million copies, which is the best result in the series. It took 5 years for the game to achieve this, as it was released on 25 January 2019.

The studio celebrated this with a themed cake, which just mentions the circulation of 14 million copies. Now we wonder which next game in the series will repeat this achievement or even surpass it.
