The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will take 6GB of free space on your Nintendo Switch

Nintendo surprised many people when it announced a brand new traditional top-down Zelda game during its recent Direct presentation, featuring Princess Zelda as a character for the first time. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is scheduled for release this September, and more details have emerged since the announcement.

Here's What We Know

According to the game's official listing on the UK Switch eShop, Echoes of Wisdom requires approximately 6 GB of free space on your system (6,144 GB to be exact).

This file size is comparable to 2019's Link's Awakening, the latest in the top-down series, which had a file size of 5.9 GB. It is expected to be significantly smaller than the open-world games Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

When We Can Expect It

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will be released on 26 September.
