Blizzard Studios has revealed the first information about the fifth season of Diablo IV.

Here's What We Know

The first public testing of the fifth season's innovations will take place from 25 June to 2 July and will be available only to players on PC via Battle.net.

The game will add a new chain of quests, in which enemies will become allies, and old friends may turn out to be traitors.

The story will take place after the events of the main Diablo IV storyline. For completing the new quests, players will gain access to an additional activity called Infernal Hordes, in which they must fend off attacks from hordes of bloodthirsty demons, each of which lasts 90 seconds.

After defeating them, players will receive a new resource "Burning Aether" (Burning Aether), for which you can buy valuable items, weapons and materials. In addition, when successfully completing the Infernal Horde, the player will be offered one of three randomised reward options.

In Diablo IV will have the opportunity to fight and "Fell Priests" (Fell Priests), which will be a worthy challenge for even the most experienced players.

For defeating bosses and passing dungeons, players will receive the Infernal Compasses, which has 8 levels of development. The Compass will help complete the themed activities of Diablo 4's fifth season.
