Samsung launches important security update for Galaxy A53 5G in the US

Samsung has begun rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy A53 5G available to users in the United States. This update, labelled firmware version A536U1UES9EXF2, not only addresses 59 security issues but also makes other improvements.

However, other than the security enhancements, no other changes have been identified in this version. Users can get this update by going to the Settings section, selecting Software Update and then Download and Install. There is also an option to download the update manually from the Samsung database.

This innovation comes after Samsung has already released a similar security update for the international, European and carrier-locked variants of the Galaxy A53 5G.

Note that the next major update, expected later this year, will bring One UI 7.0 on Android 15.
