Ghost of Tsushima became one of the best-selling games in Europe in May: all thanks to the release of the PC version

GamesIndustry.biz has reported on physical and digital game sales in Europe in May.

Here's What We Know

In May, 11.6 million PC and console games were sold in Europe. Compared to the same five-week period in 2023, this is almost 17% less. The reason is that last May saw the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which sold more copies in May 2023 than the entire top ten in May 2024.

The most popular games in May 2024 were EA Sports FC 24, Grand Theft Auto 5 and F1 2024. Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut is in fourth place, and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
