WhatsApp is starting to roll out a new type of sticker with smoother animations, thanks to the new Lottie framework
WhatsApp is introducing a new type of sticker that gives an improved visual experience, thanks to smoother vector animations and a brighter colour scheme.
Here's What We Know
The company recently started distributing the "I'm Just a Girl" stickerpack, created using the Lottie framework, which allows developers to use vector animation to create stickers. This means WhatsApp users can now enjoy stickers with smoother animations and vibrant colours.

Previously, WhatsApp stickers were based on the WebP format, which already offered high quality images. However, the new vector stickers promise even more impressive animations. For now, developers can't create Lottie stickers using third-party apps, but that could change in the future.
The first mention of WhatsApp's plans to introduce Lottie stickers appeared in the beta version of the app 2.24.5.10. With the new stickerpacks, sending stickers on WhatsApp will become even more exciting.
