The legendary suit that Steve Jobs wore to advertise the Macintosh in 1984 is up for auction and is expected to sell for $30,000.

Here's What We Know

This 100% coupeau suit with thin vertical stripes, two front pockets, one chest pocket, three inside pockets, grey buttons and a cream silk-blend lining is part of Apple's history and Macintosh marketing.

In addition to the suit, the auction also features other items from Jobs' wardrobe:

  • A dark grey wool suit with white stripes by DiMitri Couture
  • Two ties: a navy blue Wilkes Bashford San Francisco tie and a brown silk Polo Ralph Lauren tie

Each tie is estimated at approximately $2000. These items are of high value to collectors, as they are associated with one of the most famous executives and innovators in the field of technology.

The auction will be held online by Julien's Auctions on 26 July 2024.
