Flashback
The UH-1H Huey is a multi-role helicopter developed by the American company Bell. It was put into service in 1967. The UH-1H is a modification of the original UH-1 Iroquois, known as the Huey. It became one of the most recognisable helicopters used extensively during the Vietnam War.
The UH-1H features a turboshaft engine and an improved transmission. The helicopter is capable of carrying up to 14 men or 6 stretchers of wounded, as well as being used for cargo transport and medical evacuation. It is equipped with machine guns and rocket launchers for fire support. The UH-1H continues to be used by military and civilian operators around the world due to its versatility and durability.
