Just three days ago, the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion for Elden Ring was released, and even before its release it created a furore in the infopole, receiving the highest marks from critics and becoming the best DLC in Metacritic's history.
No one had any doubts that Shadow of the Erdtree would sell well, but perhaps no one expected such a result.

FromSoftware announced that Shadow of the Erdtree has already sold more than 5 million copies, which is a phenomenal result even Elden Ring has become the most titled game in the world! The FromSoftware project has been named "Game of the Year" 325 times, and it may well happen that this DLC will become the fastest selling DLC in the history of the industry.

The developers published a praise trailer, in which they cited the most eloquent theses of journalists.
