Don't Nod has postponed the game Lost Records: Bloom & Rage to 2025 due to the release of the next Life is Strange game in autumn 2024
Don't Nod, the studio known for the Life is Strange series, presented its new project, Lost Records, at The Game Awards 2023 in December: Bloom & Rage. However, in June, Deck Nine showed the next Life is Strange game, so Don't Nod is postponed.
Here's What We Know
Don't Nod is no longer developing Life is Strange. The rights to the game belong to Squre Enix and now Deck Nine is making games in this series. Life is Strange: Double Exposure is due out on 29 October. Lost Records was planning to release Lost Records: Bloom & Rage was scheduled to be released around the same time, so Don't Nod decided to postpone its game.
Oskar Hilbert, CEO of DON'T NOD, said: "We know that many of our fans are looking forward to this game, as well as the recently announced next instalment of Life is Strange. Let's give both games the space they need to be enjoyed by our players as part of the great community we've built. We believe the wait for Bloom & Rage will be worth it. We look forward to this new adventure, which we hope will be another unforgettable chapter in the DON'T NOD universe."
So, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is worth waiting for in the first half of 2025.
Flashback
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is an adventure game about time travel. In the summer of 1995, school friends Swann, Nora, Autumn, and Kat found something strange and mysterious that changed their lives.
They met again 27 years later to confront a long-hidden secret that made them promise never to talk about it again.
So far, almost nothing is known about the game. What exactly the girls found and why they hid it is a mystery. But it is known that Lost Records is being created on the Unreal Engine.
