Samsung has released a security update for its new Galaxy A55 smartphone in June 2024 for the European version of the SM-A556B model.

Owners can download the update through the Software Update section in their smartphone settings.

Samsung explained the delay in releasing security updates with the Galaxy A55 by introducing a new seamless update technology that allows you to install updates in the background without rebooting the device. However, this process proved to be more difficult to develop, leading to delays in release.
