Galaxy S24 update fixes issue with image editing via Smart Switch

The next software update for the Galaxy S24 will address an issue that has been bothering users who have been using Samsung's Smart Switch app to transfer images to their phones.

Here's What We Know

Galaxy S24 owners have noticed that changes made to images are not being properly saved when using the photo editor in the Gallery app. The issue has only been identified in cases where images have been transferred via Smart Switch.

Samsung plans to include a fix for this issue in an upcoming software update. Early indications are that the update may be available in July this year.

One UI 6.1.1 for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra is also expected to be released in July, which may include new AI features.

Keep an eye out for updates via the Settings and Software Update menus for a fix that will resolve this issue.
