The Dawntrail expansion for Final Fantasy XIV is already available to those users who pre-ordered it

The massive Dawntrail expansion for the popular multiplayer game Final Fantasy XIV will be released in a few days. However, the first players can already start playing it.

Here's What We Know

Everyone who pre-ordered Dawntrail on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5 can already go to the new Tural location, which features towns, sandy beaches and settlements of indigenous Pelupelu people (Final Fantasy X).

In addition, the game will feature the following new additions:

• two new professions;
• the maximum character level will increase from 90 to 100 and many new skills will be added;
• new enemies, dungeons, equipment, recipes, potions, raids and more;
• cosmetic items in the style of Final Fantasy IX will appear, which is seen by gamers as a hint that a remake or remaster of the ninth instalment of the series will be announced soon.

Those who haven't pre-ordered Dawntrail will get access to the new content on 2 July.
