The information was shared by the Serbian Ministry of Defence. Earlier Serbia did not report on the purchase of these systems, so it is still unknown how many SAM batteries will be transferred under the contract. By the way, it is likely that Serbia bought HQ-17AE as an alternative to the Russian Pantsir-S1 systems. Their purchase was cancelled due to the beginning of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
