Rumour: Robert Pattinson's Batman will appear in the Penguin series, which is a spin-off to the 2022 film about the Gotham's defender

In September, the Penguin series will premiere, which is a spin-off of the Batman film (2022). Many people are wondering whether we will see Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight in the series or whether the entire show will focus on Penguin. And thanks to one insider, there are more and more hopes to see Batman in the series.

Here's What We Know

During The Hot Mic podcast, Hollywood insider Jeff Snyder confirmed that Pattinson will appear in The Penguin. However, it is not known how much screen time he will get. Perhaps he will appear in only 1 episode.

The series will start immediately after the end of Batman and will show how Oswald Cobblepot expands his influence on Gotham and becomes an even greater criminal authority in the city.

Penguin will have 8 episodes. Lauren LeFranc is the writer and showrunner. Batman director Matt Reeves is the executive producer.

We would like to remind you that we will be able to watch Pattinson's Batman in full in autumn 2026, when the second film will premiere (if it is not postponed again).
