Remedy has confirmed that the second The Lake House add-on for Alan Wake 2 will be released in October 2024

In October, not only Remedy and Epic Games will release physical collector's and deluxe editions of the console versions of Alan Wake 2: pre-order now open game for Xbox Series and PS5 will go on sale, but also the second add-on for the highly praised game.

In the Frequently Asked Questions section of the Alan Wake website, Remedy Entertainment announced that the second addition The Lake House will be available in October, but the developers did not give an exact date.

DLC events will unfold on a secret facility of "independent government organisation", which is located on the shore of Cauldron Lake near the town of Bright Falls.

For Alan Wake 2 fans, it's obvious that the "independent government organisation" refers to the Federal Bureau of Control, which we first learned about in Control, but is also directly involved in the plot of Alan Wake 2.

The Lake House will likely be more story-driven than the previous Night Springs DLC, which was a set of three short and unrelated stories.
