Taiwanese studio Minimum Studios, which specialises in video game animation, has become a subsidiary of Capcom

Taiwanese studio Minimum Studios was founded in 2018 and specialises in creating animation for video games. It is now owned by Capcom.

Here's What We Know

Capcom has announced that it has acquired two-thirds of the total issued shares of Minimum Studios, and it is now a subsidiary of Capcom.

Previously, Minimum Studios worked on Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 remake, and Dragon's Dogma 2, producing animation for both cutscenes and gameplay moments.

In December, the studio opened a second office, which indicates its expansion.

Capcom has decided to make the studio a subsidiary to steadily strengthen its development and technology capabilities in an effort to achieve its long-term management goal of 100 million annual sales.
