The release is getting closer: Sony's cute platformer Astro Bot has been given an age rating by the ESRB
The release of the cute action-platformer Astro Bot, the sequel to Astro's Playroom, is coming very soon.
The game should be released on the 6th of September and the fact that it has already received an age rating says that the work on it is almost complete.
Here's What We Know
The ESRB has given Astro Bot an age rating.
As expected, the game has received an "E" mark and is recommended for those who are 10 years old or older.
The EA description states:
It is an adventure platformer in which players help Astro Bot collect parts of his crashed ship on different planets.
From a third-person view, players move through themed locations (e.g. ice world, temple, desert) collecting coins, solving puzzles, and battling enemy robots.
Players use hand strikes and spinning attacks to defeat the robots; they can use cartoon weapons (shotguns, bows) to shoot at targets and defeat characters. In several episodes, players pilot a flying controller and shoot down waves of enemy ships.
When to Expect
Astro Bot will release on 6 September only on PlayStation 5.
