Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, and Battlefield Hardline to be discontinued for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on 31 July: servers on old consoles to be shut down on 7 November

If you wanted to play the old Battlefiled titles on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, you don't have much time left, as EA plans to stop supporting these games on PS3 and X360 by autumn.

Here's What We Know

Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, and Battlefield Hardline will be discontinued for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on 31 July. And the servers will be closed on 7 November 2024. So after that, you will only be able to play the storyline campaign.

On all other platforms, the games will continue to work and be available for purchase, but the worst situation is with Battlefield 3, because it does not have a version for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This means that console versions of Battlefield 3 will be dead, and full access will be only on PC.
