Important details about Dragon Age: The Veilguard RPG continue to appear online.

Game Informer journalists again talked to game director Corinne Busche, who this time told about the game's availability.

Here's What We Know

The developers at BioWare shared that all elements of The Veilguard are being created with maximum inclusivity in mind. This manifests itself not only in the huge number of settings in the character editor, which allow you to create absolutely any hero, but also in the game's difficulty options.

Corinne Bouchet emphasised that Dragon Age: The Veilguard has three main modes, which the game designers call "play styles", essentially standard difficulty levels that include a number of accessibility settings.

  • "Storyteller" (Storyteller) - for those who are only interested in the story and do not want complex fights;
  • "Adventurer - a balanced level of difficulty for the average user;
  • "Nightmare" (Nightmare) - difficulty level for hardcore gamers, which can not be changed during the game.

There is one more variant of "game style" - "Unbound" (Unbound). It allows you to customise all elements of the game to your liking. For example, you can enable help in aiming, adjust the number of enemies and their characteristics.

The game director is sure that such variability will help all categories of gamers to enjoy Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

When We Can Expect It

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is expected to release in late 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
