Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra only: Samsung will drop Plus version of flagship in 2025
Samsung is planning radical changes to its flagship Galaxy S25 line of smartphones.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by our colleagues from Android Headlines. According to rumours, the company has decided to abandon the Plus-version of the device and will release only the Galaxy S25 (SM-S931B/DS ) and Galaxy S25 Ultra (SM-S938B) in 2025.
Most likely, this decision is due to the fact that Plus-versions of smartphones have always sold worse than other models. By the way, Samsung has been releasing three Galaxy S models since 2021. Before that, two flagship smartphones of the series were released on the market each.
As for the characteristics, the novelties will run on processors MediaTek (Galaxy S25) and Qualcomm (Galaxy S25 Ultra). The devices will get 50/200 MP cameras and 4000/5000 mAh batteries with 25/45W fast charging support.
When We Can Expect It
The Galaxy S25 lineup is expected to release in early 2025.
