Rockstar Games creatively flirts with the public: GTA Online reveals an interesting reference to the debut trailer of GTA VI

Fans of the GTA franchise are eagerly awaiting the release of the new instalment of the series and with enviable persistence are looking for references to it in all projects of Rockstar Games, and even in those that are not directly related to video games.

Attentive Reddit user under the nickname DogWifDreads found an interesting reference to GTA VI in GTA Online.

Here's What We Know

DogWifDreads discovered that Bottom Dollar Bounties, a major summer update for GTA Online, will see players searching for fugitive criminals and helping to restore order in the city, Rockstar Games studio added a new cosmetic item to GTA Online. It would seem to be a common thing, there are a huge number of them in the game and new ones are added all the time. However, the gamer considered that the new silver necklace is an exact copy of the accessory that adorned the chest of the famous girl in a bikini from the debut trailer of GTA VI.

In itself it doesn't mean anything, but we can assume that Rockstar Games wanted to use the created accessories somehow and found a worthy use for them in GTA Online, leaving a curious Easter egg for attentive gamers.

Perhaps the decoration is the first element from GTA VI in GTA Online.

As a reminder, GTA VI is expected to release in autumn 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
