The lead gameplay designer for the new Halo instalment will be the former Destiny 2 developer - the Bungie veteran has joined the staff of 343 Industries
Almost nothing is known about the new part of the famous shooter series Halo, except that it is created on Unreal Engine 5. However, fans of the franchise have a reason for optimism.
Here's What We Know
The position of lead gameplay designer of the Halo sequel was taken by Dan Gniady - this was announced by the developer himself on his LinkedIn page.
After talking to a lot of cool teams about great projects, I got the opportunity to work with Master Chief and friends. I love Halo and am very excited to be a part of its legacy.
The game designer's previous place of employment was Bungie Studios, where he worked on Destiny 2. This fact is noteworthy because it was Bungie that once created the Halo series, and now its former employee will lead the development of the franchise continuation. And since Dan Guiadis is a sincere Halo fan, we can expect him to approach the work with full responsibility and understanding of the case.
