Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze attack drones were demonstrated during the Independence Day parade in Belarus.
Here's What We Know
In addition, the UAVs were driven on Chinese Great Wall SUVs during the parade. Interestingly, it was not previously reported that Minsk would receive Iranian Shahed-136 drones. In addition, the first letter of the serial number indicates that these drones are fully manufactured in Russia.
Most likely, the Belarusian army has adopted these drones. It is worth noting that it has recently begun to actively purchase strike weapons from Russia. The Ministry of Defence of Belarus "explained" this by saying that NATO was putting pressure on Minsk and that Ukraine was allegedly conducting provocations on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border.
Russian Iskander missile systems were also demonstrated at the parade. According to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, these systems are capable of using tactical nuclear warheads.
