A parting gift from Playground Games: the Forza Horizon 4 developer is giving away three DLC on Steam, including a set of Mitsubishi cars
We have already reported that from the 15th of December racing game Forza Horizon 4 will be removed from the Microsoft Store, Steam and Xbox Game Pass subscription, as well as from retail sales. As the reason for this decision, the developers called the expiry of licence agreements.
DLC for the game has already started to be removed from sale since 25 June, but the studio Playground Games makes a generous gift to the fans of the series.
Here's What We Know
Three DLCs are available in Steam to everyone completely free of charge.
We are talking about the following sets:
- Forza Horizon 4: 1967 Sunbeam Tiger
- Forza Horizon 4: 1979 Talbot Sunbeam Lotus
- Forza Horizon 4: Mitsubishi Car Pack
The first two DLCs add one vehicle each to the game (1967 Sunbeam Tiger and 1979 Talbot Sunbeam Lotus), while the Mitsubishi set includes the following cars:
- 1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR4
- 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
- 1997 Mitsubishi GTO
- 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI GSR
- 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII MR
- 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX MR
- 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X GSR
As a reminder, Xbox Game Pass subscribers who purchased the DLC will receive a special "token" through the Xbox Message Centre service so that they don't lose access to the additional content.
Gamers who have purchased Forza Horizon 4 will be able to continue to enjoy all of its features - both online and offline.
Forza Horizon 4 is available at 80% off until 11 July as part of the Steam Summer Sale.
